As of September 18, 2024, U.S. suppliers are automatically redirected from Item 360 to Supplier One for item and inventory workflows. Suppliers who also sell in Canada and category advisors will continue using Item 360.
Setup is not yet supported in Item 360 for: Assortments, Import Shippers (General Merchandise), Pharmacy, and Fees. Please continue using your current processes (e.g., legacy workflows or systems).

Our Trade Item Hierarchy course offers insights into understanding the GS1 Standards and how to build a successful trade item hierarchy during Walmart Item Setup (i.e., GTIN standards and accuracy, etc.). It also covers common trade item errors and resolutions.

Here are some common questions and answers about trade item hierarchy in Item 360:

1. How do I correct an item that was built with an incorrect Trade Item Configuration?

In Item 360, you cannot edit an existing Walmart item's (incorrect) Trade Item Configuration. You will need to create a new item with the correct Trade Item Configuration.

2. If my item was built as a non-Break Pack but should be a Break Pack, how do I correct this?

In Item 360, you cannot edit an existing Walmart item's Trade Item Configuration to be a Break Pack. You will need to create a new item with the correct Trade Item Configuration and select "Yes" for the "Is a Break Pack?" attribute.

3. Can a Sellable GTIN be associated to multiple Trade Item Configurations?

Yes, you can have multiple Trade Item Configurations associated to the same Sellable GTIN.

4. Can I maintain GTINs and Quantity of Sellable Items?

No, these attributes cannot be maintained. If you need to update GTINs or Quantity of Sellable Items, you will need to create a new item in Item 360.

5. If the Quantity of Sellable Items in my case changes, do I need to acquire a new GTIN?

Yes, you will need to acquire a new GTIN to reflect the new quantity of sellable items in the Trade Item Level (Inner Pack, Case, or Pallet).

6. How do I know what my Trade Item Configurations tab should look like for different Trade Item Configurations?

Refer to this article for examples that show what you should include in the Trade Item Configurations tab of your spreadsheet.
